Rekor MURI untuk Taman Kota
Build 13 City Parks in Surabaya from the land of former gas stations that were conducted during 2008 to 2009, reaping an award that is quite unique. All that 13 parks was record in the former park development gas land stations in the Indonesian Record Museum. This award is given in a series of anniversary of Surabaya that all 715 ago.·

Anugerah Parahita Ekapraya
Anugerah Parahita Ekapraya. As a sign of merit for the service to the society, Surabaya City Government awarded the Anugerah Parahita Ekapraya (APE). APE is a tribute to all the efforts in improving the quality of women in all aspects of life and on a par with men.
This award is given to the government / provinces / districts / cities in the implementation of the Gender Mainstreaming strategy (PUG). In 2008, the award is also given to the department at the central level are making every effort and execution preconditions PUG like the first, political commitment and leadership institutions of the executive, judicial and legislative.

ASEAN Environmentally Sustainable City Award
Surabaya city was awarded from ASEAN Environment Sustainable City as the city with the best sustainable environmental regulation compared to other major cities in ASEAN.
There are three basic criteria used in the assessment of the jury that reforestation is not just looks green but has been able to make the city is cool, the river in Surabaya relatively clean, and the air in Surabaya rated cleaner than other major cities in ASEAN.

Adipura
Adipura is the highest award for cleanliness and environmental protection City. This award is given every year to the cities that were able to maintain and preserve a healthy environment.
To achieve Adipura Kencana 2011., all nominations must go through five phases. Rate Adipura Kencana The year 2011 was not only focused on management issues of cleanliness and greening, but including environmental management and transportation management.
